My Recent Ukraine Interview

Having lived in Ukraine from 2010 to 2014, this beautiful country is never far from my thoughts these days. Christmas Eve was the ten-month anniversary of the Russian invasion. I experienced a 33-hour power outage this past week with temperatures as low as 6 F, which reminded me, in a small way, how so many Ukrainians are suffering through this winter. I was last there in 2019 as part of an international election observer team when President Zelensky was elected. His speech at Congress last week was certainly inspiring.
