NH Legislative Caucus Promotes Getting to Know People Across the Political Aisle

For the past three years, I have been volunteering with Braver Angels to promote respectful discussion across party lines in the NH House of Representatives. We now have a Braver Angels-inspired legislative caucus named the Granite Bridge Legislative Alliance which hosted its first Braver Angels workshop on May 6 with 9 Republicans and 9 Democrats participating. There were many positive comments from the legislators, including “This is the solution,” “I see the light getting wider,” “There is hope,” “A wonderful way to find collaboration despite our differences,” and “I was inspired by our collaboration and wish our constituents could see us.”
